A short overview of our manufacturing methods:

  
Depending on the requirements we use different printing and labeling methods:
  • CNC engraving
  • Silkscreen print
  • Anodized subsurface printing
  • Laser engraving
   

Engraving:

   Engraving is used when labeling with canging text lines or consecutive numbering. The deep engraving is filled in with ink. Even if the colour is taken off with solvent, the lettering remains clearly visible. Particularly with smaller quantities the strength of the engraving is clearly shown to advantage. Various materials, such as stainless steel, aluminium, brass, acrylic glass and laminate plastics are here processed.  
     

Silkscreen print:

 Silkscreen printing can be applied on aluminium, plastic, acrylic glass and stainless steel. During this process the individual colours are printed consecutively with aid of screens. Silkscreen print is the only printing method which can print white. It is not solvent-resistant. For better colour fidelity we need exact colour indications according to Pantone, HKS or RAL. Colour gradients are printed in half tone printing. The text files and logos are needed as vector files preferably in EPS format.

Anodized subsurface print:

 This production process is a special screen printing technique on aluminium, where aluminium sheets with an open-pore surface are being used. Using this material with plates will result in a product with very high durability. By sealing of the anodic coating after the printing process we can ensure the product quality even for heavy duty applications and under extreme conditions. The plates are scratch-proof and solvent-resistant. The production process is unsed for industrial plates and name badges as well as cloakroom tokens with logo. However there is one limitation: white cannot be printed and it can only be printed on aluminium silver.
   

Round silkscreen print

 Round silkscreen print is the same production process as silscreen print but is used with convex surfaces

Laser engraving:

 Here CO² lasers are being used to produce labeling on different materials by use of a laser beam. With stainless steel and silver aluminium however only a kind of anthracite-coloured lettering is possible. With other materials the colour beneath th top layer becomes visible, f.e. with aluminium blue anodized the letting becomes silvery-withe. Changing text lines or consecutive numerbing are doable. Photos can be reproduced by screened lasering.
   
There are signs or badges that need the combination of different manufacturing methods. It is good to have a supplier who can provide this.
